Welcome, teachers!

You have decided to use Puberty: The Wonder Years to educate your students about the normal changes they will experience as they grow from children into adults. This curriculum was designed to be user-friendly and effective.

Your purchase includes access to the following:

  • Teaching Materials that you will need to implement the lessons with fidelity. These resources include Student Activity Sheets and Answer Keys, Teacher Masters, Teacher References, and Rubrics.
  • Family Engagement Materials to share with parents, guardians, and other family members. These include Family Activity Sheets and Family Partnership Flyers in English and Spanish.
  • PowerPoint Slides to display as you facilitate the lessons. These slides are full color, animated slides that will keep your students’ attention and guide their learning.
  • Online Teacher Resources that are background information to support your teaching. Some of these resources are used to help you prepare to teach the lessons. Others provide background information on the topics in the lessons. Making Connections resources describe how these lessons are connected to other education initiatives.

What educators are saying

“My students had lots of questions! They thanked me for being willing to teach them about what is happening to them.”

Mike B., Lansing School District

“Puberty: The Wonder Years doesn’t just stick to puberty. The curriculum also includes lessons on topics that I think are necessary, such as bullying and social-emotional components. There’s also a lot of scripting for really good conversation and prompts for the teachers.”

Tim Kordic, Project Advisor for Sexual Health & HIV Prevention, Los Angeles Unified School District
